BC Designs Traditional Roll Top Double Ended Verdigris Green Copper Freestanding Boat Bath
Stunning and elegant, this freestanding Verdigris Green copper boat bath from BS Designs has a wholly luxurious look and will be the perfect centrepiece in any bathroom.
Each copper bath is made in the traditional hand crafted manner used for centuries, and therefore there will be gentle undulations and some colour variation in the finish so every bath is unique to you. All of the curves and bends are made with no more than a hammer, an experienced eye and a strong arm.
The bath comes in lengths of 1500mm and 1700mm. The beautiful antique finish is achieved by applying sulphuric acid and chalk powder before sealing with lacquer for a durable finish. A patina effect on the outside of the bath to finish the look.
Copper baths are excellent heat conductors and will maintain the water temperature much longer than Cast iron versions. Even after the bath has been emptied it will remain warm to the touch.
Please note that these Copper baths do not come with an overflow so there are slotted and unslotted options available. All overflow holes must be drilled on site.

Maintenance & Care
Routinely clean with warm soapy water and a nonabrasive cloth and dry immediately after use. Avoid dripping taps, sharp objects and the use of harsh chemicals.
Maintain the finish by re-applying a suitable wax seal (we recommend Rennaisance Wax) regularly every 4-6 weeks depending on use. More usage will require more maintenance.
If the wax wears off and oxidisation develops on the copper surface, clean the bath with a fine metal cleaner, such as Autosol, and then re-apply the wax.
