SharpSlope Wet Room Shower Tray Base Kit with Square Panel Drain
The SharpSlope wet room shower tray base kit has been specifically designed to create a waterproof environment for installing wet rooms and walk-in showers in properties with timber and concrete flooring. Containing everything you need to tank a wetroom, this high quality kit is suitable for both minimalist and modern designs alike, and can be incorporated into any size bathroom and shower area.
The shower tray base has a water-repellent core made of extruded polystyrene foam and an extremely low installation height with incorporated 4 sided drainage fall. They also feature a cementitious coating on the top layer that permits direct tiling without the need for additional preparatory work. The whole base is completely waterproof and stable - it is not affected by moisture, humidity or movement in the substrate.
Several drain cover options are available; you can select a steel grate or a selection of drain panels. The drain panels come with several luxurious finishes all of which can be flipped upside down so you can insert a tile into it, ideal when you plan to tile onto the tray base, so both the area surrounding the drain and the drain itself have the same tile creating a seamless wetroom appearance. Additional Information
- SharpSlope wetroom/shower bases are not self-supporting. In order to support the base firmly when creating a level-entry design on a suspended timber floor a sub-floor must be constructed between the joists using, for example, 18mm plywood.
- The waterproofing kit includes an easy-to-apply solvent-free paint-on liquid membrane that dries as one continuous sheet and is designed to move and stretch with the building.
- Tested to international standards and are ETAG 022-1 certified, and EC1 Plus approved. The kit also complies with EN 1253.
- Tiles, shower and glass enclosures seen in product photos are not included. Sold separately.
